Living The Transcendent Life

Jesus not only saved us from our sins, but He also gave us a new life, and this new life that we receive is what made us born-again children of God. We became born again by believing in the Lord Jesus, and receiving Him as our Lord and saviour according to the Bible in John 1:12: But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name (KJV). And also in Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved (KJV).

Are you born again? If you are, you are indeed a child of God, this is a reality. All of us who are born again are God’s children, it is an eternal truth which nothing can change. No law or policy in the whole of the universe is able to change this truth, we are the sons of God by the virture of our new birth in Christ. The Bibles says, “Beloved, now are we the sons of God…” (1 John 3:2 KJV). We are not going to be His sons in the future, we already are His sons and would continue to be as long we remain in Him.

As God’s children, we also have been given a joint-sitting with our Lord Jesus. According to the Bible in Hebrews 8:1: “Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens;” (KJV). And also according to Hebrews 12:2: “Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God” (KJV). Jesus is seated on the throne of God, and we are in Him, meaning that His enthronement is our enthronement. According to Ephesians 2:4-6: But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus(KJV). He raised us and also made us sit together with Christ, we have been enthroned. Now, as enthroned people of God, is it our responsibility to live as people who have truly been enthroned. The life He gave to us is a transcendent life, we should therefore live with consciousness, accurate knowledge and understanding of this transcendent life.
